Creative organization
A creative organization is different from a typical traditional organization. In a typical traditional organization, the management works by either simply telling an idea which has to be then followed by the staff, or selling an idea to the staff, or testing an idea with the staff or consulting the staff with an idea. All these methods have a low to medium degree of active staff involvement and the required capacity for direction setting and learning among the team members is medium to low. On the other hand a creative organization will employ the methodology of co-creating where the degree of active staff involvement is high and therefore the required capacity for direction setting and learning in the team is also high. Creative organization: Core team from heavven The genesis of a creative organization which is generative in nature will take place by assembling a “core team” which will be called as the “team from heaven”. This will be a team of women professionals who will work with the management philosophy of co-creating rather than telling, selling, testing or consulting. Therefore this "core team" shall have a clear purpose, vision & mission from the inception stage of the learning organization and they will be further involved in the growth and expansion of the organization. The “core team” or the “dream team” of women professionals who will be involved with the inception of the creative organization will have the following qualities that will make them immensely capable of achieving the vision and the purpose of the organization. This team which will be called as the "team from heaven" will have a strong platform of understanding and commitment to the purpose of the organization. The "core team" will have a shared vision, will work within a creative climate and will be responsible for ownership of ideas. Moreover the "core team" will be resilient to setbacks, will consist of network activators and it will learn from experience. If this are the qualities of the “team from heaven” then the qualities of the “team from hell” is exactly opposite to this. Such a team will have poor platform for understanding, no shared vision and it will work within a poor climate for creativity. Further such a team will have no ownership of ideas, will be fatalistic to setbacks, will have few networking skills. Finally the irony of such a team is that it doesn’t learn from experience at all.
