Fashion shoes
Fashion shoes are the type of footwear and they may vary from a simple flip-flop to a complex boot. Shoes for women may have high or low heels, although in western cultures, high heels are considered a women's style. Shoe materials include leather or canvas. Athletic shoe soles may sometimes be made of rubber. There is a large variety of shoes available for women, in addition to most of the men's styles being more accepted as unisex. Fashion shoes: Women's shoes Some broad categories of fashion shoes for women are: Pumps, known in the US and UK as ballerinas. Ballet pumps or skimmers are shoes with a very low heel and a relatively short vamp, exposing much of the instep. They are popular for warm-weather wear, and may be seen as more comfortable than shoes with a higher heel. High heels may be shoes with heels 2 inches (5 cm) or higher. They are often seen as having more sex appeal than low heels and are thus commonly worn by women for formal occasions or social outings. Fashion shoes: More of Women's fashion shoes Kitten heels are low high heels from about 1.5 to 2 inches high, set in from the back of the shoe. Sneaker boot and sneaker pump are shoes that looks like athletic shoes, but are equipped with a heel, making it a kind of novelty dress shoe. Wedge Sandals are sandals but have the ankles higher as if wearing a high heels shoe. Mules are shoes or slippers with no fitting around the heel i.e. they are backless. Slingbacks are shoes which are secured by a strap behind the heel, rather than over the top of the foot. Espadrilles are casual flat or high-heeled fashion sandals of a style which originated in the Pyrenees. They usually have cotton or canvas upper and a flexible sole of rope or rubber. Pumps are strapless shoes with no lacings or fastening. Fashion shoes: Guidelines for wearing shoes When we select fashion shoes we need to remember that the heels don't have to be terribly high, but there's no doubt that if you want to appear slimmer, a bit of a heel will help dramatically. Shoes can help your legs look longer and thinner provided you match them with your attire and also if you are naturally a little bit tall. If your legs look longer, they will also appear thinner with a little bit of heel. Further shoes with pointy toes will help make your legs seem longer. So, even if you think your legs aren’t long enough and it's a thinner appearance you're after, try a shoes with pointed toes. Matching your shoes to your hose or tights, when wearing a skirt or a dress will help your legs look thinner. If your skirt is also in a matching colour, you'll look thinner from the waist down. Fashion shoes: Keep the symmetry in mind and avoid shoes which makes you look shorter Always keep symmetry in your appearance as regards to your attire and your shoes. Therefore avoid wearing light-colored hose with dark shoes and a dark skirt. Further when you are pursuing a slimmer appearance it is wise to select shoes with an open toe and high heels as these will give your thighs and calves a slimmer appearance than a closed-toe shoe will. There are some kind of shoes which can make your legs look shorter. Shoes with ankle straps will give a shorter leg appearance. So skip the ankle straps if you want your legs to look slimmer. Another kind of shoes which can give you a thinner and longer look are the backless or slingback shoes. Fashion shoes: Keep your "feet" shoe friendly Using a single shoe for a long time is unhealthy for your feet and therefore to keep your feet healthy you will need to own several pairs of shoes. Using a single shoe with heal continuously can strain your feet and so if you are a woman who likes wearing high heels then you must have shoes with heels of varying heights. This will help you to counteract the effects of raised heels. Keep in mind that heels should never be more than three-quarters of an inch. Anything more than that can lead to long term chronic conditions like back pain. One of the main reasons for getting nail fungus is using shoes for a long time and shoes which are wet and full of moisture. If you have nail fungus consult your doctor and don't forget to throw away old sports shoes. Fashion shoes: Know the size of your feet Know the size of your feet to buy shoes which perfectly fit you. One of the easy methods to know the size of your feet is to draw the outline of your foot on a piece of paper before buying a new pair of shoes. This will give you a fairly accurate idea of the actual size of the shoe you should buy. Shoes should be comfortable to wear and wide enough for air circulation. When you buy closed shoes ensure that there is enough space between your longest toe and your toe box. Otherwise your toe and fingers will be cramped inside your shoes. When it comes to the width of the space it should be as much as the width of your thumb. Always wear shoes or sandals and never walk barefoot even inside your house. Keeping your feet bare increases the chances of your feet getting injured. So remember to wear shoes whenever you go out and at least wear some kind of easy footwear inside your house. Fashion shoes: Keep "shoes" feet friendly and get the ones that fit you Apart from taking care of your feet you need to take care of your shoes also. It is best to keep your shoes inside your house. Further to keep the style and fashion going choose shoes according to the activity to be performed. For example general sports shoes and athletic shoes look alike but they are for different purposes and are made in different ways. Similarly a sports shoe is different from a formal wear shoe. Fashion shoes: Shoe shopping in the latter half of the day Avoid going for shoe shopping in the morning hours as in the morning you won't know the exact size of your feet. Buy shoes in the latter half of the day and you will get shoes that fit you accurately. The reason for this is that by this time your feet are slightly swollen and hence you will get the right fit. Inside the shop take your time to select the best fit of shoes. Try the new shoes while standing, try on both of feet and walk around a little to find out whether the new shoe fits you well. Don't forget to take your socks along to make sure that your shoe fit you comfortably with the socks on.
