My wife of 19 years recently filed for divorce, this was spurred by a non adulterous act on my part.
It came out that the main problem she has with me is that I want to control her. I have heard her say something to this effect before, but didn't know it was such a big problem for her.
Faced with losing my wife I have offered her anything and everything I have including changes in my behaviors, anything to save our marriage. She has not shown any sign of changing her mind.
The thought of suggesting to her that we reunite based on conduction our marriage using the Matriarchy model may interest her. I have suggested this to her and she has not responded to this idea as of yet.
I would like to know of resources I can use to learn how we can implement a Matriarchy system in my marriage that would give my wife confidence that she is the dominant partner and I am submissive to her.
I need to make this as strong a statement as possible that I will allow myself to be vulnerable to her every wish and that she can reinforce her dominance daily.
I am looking for reference materials to learn how to do this or would be interested in personnel recommendations as to how to educate myself and that I can share with my wife, soon to be my ex-wife if I don't figure this out. Thank you for any support you can offer.
