Salsa dance music is a diverse group of dance music with influence of Latin Jazz, Jazz, pop, rock and R&B. It is especially a genre of dance music played for Salsa dance which is a partner dance enjoyed by a group of people in a routine manner or with lot of improvisation also. This kind of dance music is of the Latino, Cuban, Caribbean and Puerto Rican origins. Popular in Salsa music today are Son, Mambo, Cha Cha Chá, Rumba, Merengue, Guaracha, Timba, Songo, and others.
